What happened ?
A transient tiger was spotted in rural villages of Kakinada district in the month of May 2022 . He was actively roaming around close proximity of human habitats preying of cattle ! Surprisingly another tiger was also spotted in Vizianagaram district in the month of April 2022!!!
Since then both the tigers are elusive and active in these areas !!!
What are we doing?
Thanks to Andhra Pradesh Forest Department for allowing us assist them on field in tracking and monitoring to mitigate Human-Tiger conflict .
Our daily routine includes tracking the tiger movement by setting up camera traps and addressing the cattle kills . And also educating communities to avoid any conflict.
The response from public are very encouraging as they slowly started to accept the tigers to move undisturbed towards forested areas !!!
Thanks to our committed team who are working effortlessly towards conservation of Big Cats !!!
