Animal Warriors Conservation Society is dedicated towards the conservation of Nature and wildlife habitat. We aimed towards restoration of lost habitats of around urban communities.
Ameenpur Lake is the rich Birding hotspot in Hyderabad city, annually numerous birds reach Ameenpur during migration, Greater flamingos and pelicans are the main attraction of this lake. But this lake is having very less green cover to host these many birds. So we took up this initiative to recover the green cover as a part of our habitat restoration program.
We planted 35 No. of scientifically selected native plants to support the recovery of green cover. We also cleanup this lake from plastic debris which post threat to birds.
