On Earth Day we initiated a beach cleanup event under our “Coastal Village Development Program” . Fisher Community and Coastal Police took active part in cleaning Kothapatnam Beach.
By involving the local fishermen community and local coastal police we collected 6 bags of plastic material and sent to recycle unit. And we took this opportunity to bring awareness among the visitors to make pallapalam Beach as a plastic free beach.
Our Coastal Village Development Program aims to build ECO friendly coastal communities. We make by conducting various community driven initiatives to empower fisher communities be sustainable ecologically and economically.
